--G Rajon Rondo was not suspended for his foul on Chicago's Brad Miller late in Tuesday's game, the league announced Wednesday.
--Coach Doc Rivers was fined $25,000 by the NBA for criticizing the officials' treatment of Kendrick Perkins as he sets picks. Rivers claimed Perkins is getting whistled, while Chicago's Brad Miller is not. Rivers has been fined a total of $65,000 for three such statements this season.
"Hey, like I've said, I'm the human stimulus package," Rivers said.
Interestingly, his last fine came from another game in Chicago worked by ref Bill Kennedy.
--The Celts believe Brad Miller could have gotten a suspension for going back at Glen Davis after the latter committed a fourth-quarter foul in Game 4. In fact, Miller was ejected by the officials, who then changed the call to a simple technical after watching replays.
"He swung at me," said Davis.
Miller was clearly angry when he went back at Davis, but he had a milder interpretation.
"He came across the face and I pushed back a little bit," Miller said. "I saw a little bit of the replay. It's the playoffs and you never know what's going to happen. I didn't even know what they called. I just heard the crowd boo, and then they said they were going to replay it.
"There's been bodies flying this whole series. That's what this series is all about. I was just pushing him off. That's all I was trying to do. It should have been just a technical."
