--With P.J. Brown and Sam Cassell soon to be part of the Celtics' active roster, Doc Rivers will have to juggle his rotation. But he doesn't see a problem when it comes to players losing time.
"We don't talk about our minutes on this team," said Rivers. "It's about our wins." Eddie House clearly figures to lose some time as Cassell takes over as backup point guard.
"I've talked with Danny (Ainge) and Doc, and we're all on the same page," House said. "Everyone is on the boat. We're all going to the same place. The most important thing is that everyone is going in the same direction. Sam gives us the veteran point guard that everyone thinks we need. It's something I've experienced before on the business side of the ball, and as a veteran, you have to accept it. You can't spend too much time thinking about how it affects you. Like I said, I've dealt with situations similar to this before."
--The Celtics may have the best record in the NBA, but they've lost once to Charlotte and had to go to the wire to beat the Bobcats on two other occasions.
"Look at the guys on the roster," said Charlotte's Jason Richardson. "You got Kevin Garnett, future Hall of Famer. Ray Allen, future Hall of Famer. Paul Pierce, future Hall of Famer. They're a top team in the East. That brings everything out in you. I just love playing here. Great arena, great fans here, just love playing against those guys that bring the best out of my game."
QUOTE TO NOTE: "Perk's been terrific." -- Doc Rivers on Kendrick Perkins, who had 19 points and nine rebounds against Charlotte Friday in addition to his 11 and 12 Sunday.
