Boston Celtics Roster Report 2009-11-22

Boston Celtics Roster Report 2009-11-22ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Rajon Rondo, Shooting guard Ray Allen, Small forward Paul Pierce, Power forward Kevin Garnett, Center Kendrick Perkins. Bench -- Guard Eddie House, Forward/Center Rasheed Wallace, Guard/Forward Marquis Daniels, Forward Shelden Williams, Forward Brian Scalabrine.

PLAYER NOTES:

--C Kendrick Perkins is appealing the two technical fouls he was called for last weekend. He was hit for one against Atlanta when, after scoring inside, he tried to get away from Maurice Evans, who had hooked his arm. His second came on a wordless protest after being called for a block against Indiana.

--With his 19 points Wednesday, F Paul Pierce passed Isiah Thomas for 48th place on the NBA's all-time scoring list. He added 21 on Friday to pass Chet Walker for 47th.

"I think it's great," said Pierce. "It just shows the longevity that I've had in the league."

--G Rajon Rondo played just 43 seconds in the last quarter as the Celts tried to come back on the Magic.

"Yeah, I mean, whatever the team needs," he said. "This is how the game was going. That unit out there came back, and I didn't want to mess up the rhythm."

MEDICAL WATCH:

--F Glen Davis (fractured right thumb) is out six weeks from October 27 surgery.

--G Tony Allen (rehab from right ankle surgery) is back practicing.
