--G Stephon Marbury and F Mikki Moore went through a semi-private practice Saturday when the team had the day off. Needing people to set up the plays, Celtic rookies Bill Walker and J.R. Giddens also participated.
--G Ray Allen came into Sunday's game averaging 26 points in his previous four. But he shot 2-for-10 from the floor (0-for-5 on treys) and had just 10 points against the Pistons.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--Tony Allen will be out eight weeks after surgery to repair his left thumb Feb. 18.
--Kevin Garnett strained his right knee Thursday in Utah. He will be out two to three weeks from Feb. 21.
--Brian Scalabrine suffered a strained neck against Denver Monday. Coupled with two previous concussions, his status is uncertain pending further tests.
