Boston Celtics Roster Report 2009-03-30

Boston Celtics Roster Report 2009-03-30
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Rajon Rondo, Shooting guard Ray Allen, Small forward Paul Pierce, Power forward Glen Davis, Center Kendrick Perkins. Bench -- Guard Eddie House, Guard Gabe Pruitt, Center Mikki Moore, Guard Stephon Marbury.

PLAYER NOTES:

--F Glen Davis left Sunday's game in the third quarter to get 10 stitches in his forehead after taking a Kevin Durant elbow. He returned with a vengeance to complete a 19-point, 10-rebound night.

--G Eddie House had nine of his 16 points in the third quarter against the Thunder, which is more impressive because he was just 1-for-6 from the floor in the first half. "He was rushing his shots and he saw it on video at halftime," said Doc Rivers.

--G Stephon Marbury continued to look better. He made just one of his four shots against Oklahoma City, but he dished out seven assists in 21 minutes.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--G Tony Allen could play the last week of the regular season after surgery to repair his left thumb on Feb. 18.

--F Brian Scalabrine will be out until at least April 1 with post-concussion syndrome.

--F Leon Powe is out 2-3 weeks after bruising his right knee March 17 in Chicago.

--F Kevin Garnett is day-to-day with a strained right knee.
