BOSTON (AP) - Boston Celtics guard Tony Allen did not travel with the team to New Orleans because of a thumb injury.
The team said Tuesday Allen was injured during practice. He will have the thumb immobilized and miss games against the Hornets and the Dallas Mavericks and be reevaluated after the All-Star break.Allen is averaging 7.8 points and 19 minutes per game.
