Boston Celtics Fans #wearGREEN
Description:
So I am making a video to help jump start my goal. My goal is to have a crowd at TD GARDEN
to see a sea of green. It looks beautiful in the OKC Arena, and the other numerous teams
that pull it off. I know that they give them shirts to wear, but if this does catch on
maybe our stadium will give out free shirts. If not I still would love to see some
organization of our crowd and see everyone wearing some kind of green. I see very little
amount of green and i would love for this number to reach 80%! It would be awesome to see
KG talk about our crowd wearing green. Not only I believe it would make it a tougher
environment for our opponents but it would give our guys some adrenaline, and I feel it
would bring our crowd more together. Spread the news. Follow me on twitter @CELTICSHOORAH

Allen Iverson presented the game ball for Sixers' Game 6
Description:
Sixers legend Allen Iverson left Philadelphia under not-so-great circumstances twice ?
first, when he was traded to the Denver Nuggets in December 2006, and then again in 2010
after a short, controversy-filled return to the franchise. Despite those exits, Iverson is
still much-loved in Philly. He led the franchise emotionally and on the court for more
than a decade, and his toughness (mixed with a lot of frustration, naturally) helped the
city identify with him. Simply put, he's the most important Philadelphia athlete of the
past 25 years, no matter how often Eagles fans still complain about former quarterback
Donovan McNabb. On Wednesday night, the currently unemployed Iverson returned to the Wells
Fargo Center to present the game ball before tip-off of the Sixers' Game 6 win against the
Boston Celtics. His initial appearance was brief: he walked out in head-to-toe Sixers
apparel (including a jersey with the No. 23 of Louis Williams, the most Iversonian member
of the team), presented the ball, shook some hands, gave some hugs, and left the court to
watch the game. Through it all, the home crowd gave him a huge ovation. You can watch
video of that above. After the jump, check out the more complicated part of Iverson's
evening: an interview with ESPN's Lisa Salters that touched on his desire to play
basketball and his difficulty in finding a team that wants him. Link sports.yahoo.com

76ers Top Celtics To Force Game 7: Jrue Holiday, Elton Brand Lead Philadelphia To 82-75 Win
Description:
Jrue Holiday scored 20 points, and Elton Brand had 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead the
tough-and-determined Philadelphia 76ers past the Celtics, 82-75 on Wednesday night to send
the Eastern Conference semifinals back to Boston for Game 7. No team has won consecutive
games in a series where neither team has played well enough to seize control. Paul Pierce,
Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Rajon Rondo could be playing their last game together
Saturday night if they can't find a way to hang onto the ball and put away a Sixers team
that won't quit. Former 76ers All-Star Allen Iverson earned a roaring standing ovation
when he presented the game ball. By the end, the fans were on their feet for Holiday,
Brand and Andre Iguodala for keeping the eighth-seeded Sixers alive for at least one more
game. The Celtics posted ugly numbers across the board: Blame the loss on the 33 percent
shooting, the 17 turnovers or the 3 for 14 3-point shooting. Either way, there's enough to
go around.
